Either way, Franz' command samples (you really only need to specify if and of) are the way to go. I don't think you need to use the raw device for the floppy in Linux (in fact I don't think there is one) Say: dd if= of=/dev/fd0H1440 (HD disks) dd if= of=/dev/fd0H720 (DD disks) dd if= of=/dev/fd0 (might automatically work) replace fd0 with fd1 if you wanted to use the 2nd floppy drive. However, being an ex-Sun employee, most of my knowledge is in Solaris, so this might not be entirely accurate.
