Yes, that will work quite nicely. An alternative is to edit each subtone's parameter for defining which note is the root key. I forget the terminology and I'm at work so I can't look it up. But setting the note the same as the note assignment on the keymap will make your sample play at the correct speed on that note. And since pitch follow is on, you can map the subtone to an adjacent key or two if you want different pitches/keys. With pitch follow off, each key will play the sample at the original pitch/speed no matter where you map the subtone. Both ways have their applications.
