Is it useful? Is it best for creating or editing waveforms? It's great for dealing with envelopes, since there are a few points to deal with, and for editing little bits of simple waveforms closeup. However, anything else you draw sounds mostly like a "click". Actually, you may be able to get yours the same was as I got mine - go to your local music store (since they're fazing these things out) and see if they've got one in stock. Make some casual remark about how you were thinking you might get one but the price was so high it really didn't seem worth it. Chances are they will ask you what it would be worth to you. Name your figure and proceed to the cash register. larry... -- Subject: Re: Hey! Wake Up. Does anybody own/use the %digitizing tablet? I've found it useful at times. It's really tough to freehand a waveform. If you get good at it, you can "touch up" noisy or distorted waveforms. It's best used for drawing envelopes for the attack/decay. BTW, as far as work on the disk converter goes... of course, I haven't gotten much accomplished. Swamped at work, etc, etc. Just brought up a USENET connection here. Anyway, I see that Borland is bringing out TC++ for Windows, so as soon as I get it, I'm going to start in again on the disk converter (really... I promise!). -- Todd Day | todd@appmag.com | appmag!todd@hub.ucsb.edu ^^^^^^^^^^ coming soon! -- Date: Thu, 28 Feb 91 02:09:21 CST >From: Rod Lemcke Subject: Want to get involved!
