Assign" Patch parameter, but it's not mentioned in the user's manual. Some Tone parameters can be controlled real-time with Sysex, even the sample start, loop and end points. So it's likely that filter cutoff or resonance can be controlled that way too. But since the Roland samplers have no edit buffer, the Sysex message always has to include some information which tone is to be affected. With the S-7** samplers filter cutoff can be controlled with any MIDI controller. I haven't found a way to control filter resonance in real-time. It's possible however to cross-fade between several partials with different resonance settings (but using the same sample) with the SMT controller. Not really changing resonance, but sounds similar.
